Like Being Piaf'd: Pushing Hands - 'Frames'

Wednesday 11 January 2012

Pushing Hands' music is like the aural equivalent of a vivid, beautifully cinematic dream. Frontman Freddie Webb's soft vocals are the backbone of each song; the underlying glimmer of a dream you remember upon waking that allows you to piece together fragments of a wistfully probable storyline. The jolted plucks of the guitar and synthed swells of the keyboard of Frames add depth to to the track, like the details that separate a hauntingly memorable dream from one that isn't.

You can download a free copy of their track, He's Still Here along with a Palms remix of it here.
